When Danielle, a senior at Clayton High School, booked her senior portrait session she wanted the resulting photographs to be reflective of her style: simple and laid back. Keeping that in mind, we didn’t stray far from her everyday look for her senior session and chose three outfits that were representative of her taste but also allowed for a variety of looks.

Danielle opted to add hair and makeup onto her session so Nory Beebe, my session hair and makeup artist, worked with her just before we shot to achieve this gorgeous, natural look. Nory then accompanied us to the session to make sure Danielle’s hair and makeup were on-point for each look.

The portrait above on the right was unanimously decided to be the absolute favorite by Danielle, her mom, and myself!

Danielle’s mom absolutely loved the close up portrait (above on right) and remarked that her daughter looks like a young Brooke Shields. Seriously though, I think we figured out Danielle’s celebrity doppelgänger!

Danielle’s final look was comprised of distressed jeans and a black, flare sleeve top. We shot this in two separate ways-one being more dressed up (above) and the other a bit more casual (below). For the more casual version of this look, Danielle traded in her boots for converse and we had Nory pull her hair back into a ponytail to add to a sportier feel.

Danielle plans to attend college at a university in the midwest where she is considering studying business law. No doubt this young woman is out to take on the world!
