1. booking
Upon contacting me to schedule your session, we will discuss your desires for custom portrait photography and I will further explain my process. Then we will decide on a date that works best for you and complete the booking process!
2. consultation
After booking and reserving your session date, you will have the opportunity to review my digital welcome packet which includes a session guide as well as a product and design guide! You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire. The questionnaire helps me gather information about you, your style, and how you envision your final images. After I receive the questionnaire back from you, I will touch base to finalize a location, briefly discuss wardrobe and how to best prepare for your session, and I will address any lingering questions or ideas you have. I am available to you at any point leading up to your session. Should you have any questions or concerns, just give me a call or send me an email!
3. the session
This is the fun part! Just show up and enjoy yourself! The session is a time for you to laugh with your children, coo over the new life you brought into the world, share loving moments with your partner or strut your stuff knowing graduation is just around the corner! I avoid stiff, uncomfortable posing during sessions. Instead, while you are enjoy this time with your loved ones, I will offer gentle direction or suggest activities that will help elicit relaxed, natural looking images. Remember, your session is all about capturing emotion, personality, and connection! Please keep in mind, the remainder of the session fee is due by your session date. We will also go ahead and schedule your reveal session at this time!
4. the REVEAL
A few short weeks after your session we will meet for the reveal session. I can travel to your home or you can stop by my home studio! This is such a fun and relaxing time to spend enjoying the art we created! Enjoy a beverage and yummy pastry while you admire your fully retouched and enhanced images. As you sort through your favorite images, you will enjoy the perks that come along with in-person ordering appointments such as collection bundle pricing, the chance to interact with the products in person, as well as the ability to give your input on custom designed products such as cards, albums, and collages! I will be there every step of the way to guide you in aesthetic and design decisions that will best suit your desires, style, and budget.
5. Delivery
Once your collection is paid for in full, the products you chose during the reveal session are ordered from the various professional labs I work with. It can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to receive your order depending on which products you selected. Once I have received your selections I inspect them to ensure they are up to my high quality and artistic standards and prepare the items for delivery to your home!

As a full service photographer, my goal is to adorn your home with beautiful photographs. The portraits we capture at your session can be used to create stunning gallery walls, albums, custom cards, or simple gift prints to display in tabletop frames and give to family and friends.
