Perhaps you are about to welcome home your first child, or maybe you are growing from a family of four to a family of five! No matter the scenario, this transition is a BIG deal. Taking the time to capture images that reflect this time of transition is an incredibly special way to preserve memories during a time that seems to fly by!
I have a lifestyle approach to photographing maternity and newborn sessions. This means that I don't focus on posed images (though we will get at least one 'everyone look at the camera and smile' shot!). Instead, I focus on providing gentle instruction to elicit genuine emotion and interaction.
During your maternity session, I will capture you gazing at your adorable pregnant belly with great anticipation and if your partner and soon-to-be siblings are involved, these will be some of the last photographs taken of your family before the arrival of your littlest one! Your newborn session will be focused on the emotion involved in bringing home your baby and I just can't wait to capture the look of pure amazement as you stare down at this life that is now such an integral part of your own!
