Hey there, I'm Amelia! I started Amelia Hearne Photography in early 2013 in hopes of turning my passion for photography into a successful career and I am now privileged to travel the St. Louis area photographing families, children, and high school seniors among other subjects. I specialize in natural light, lifestyle portraiture and thrive on capturing each individual's unique personality as well as the relational intricacies between family and friends.
When I am not photographing beautiful clients or editing images you will likely find me hiking, catching up on my favorite podcasts, reading, or trying to develop a green thumb. I'm also a foster parent and when I have kids living with me I enjoy spending a lot of time playing and exploring with them!
PHILOSOPHY
Hello, I'm Amelia! I started Amelia Hearne Photography with the hope of creating a life full of passion in which my work doesn't feel like work and I get to meet and interact with amazing people daily. Fortunately, I have been able to make this dream a reality in great part thanks to my amazing clients who are super invested in my work and trust my ability to tell their story beautifully and accurately through my lens.
Not only do I love photographing clients but I love documenting my own life. I'm not one to constantly be behind the camera in my personal life because I enjoy being in the moment but I do treasure the photos I've taken of family, friends, and adventures!
In addition to photography, I am also very passionate about improving the lives of children impacted by the child welfare system. My favorite role in life so far is that of a foster parent. I absolutely adore the amazing children I am privileged to love and care for!
